Matthew Dunn has built a career promoting luxury travel brands, from The Knickerbocker Hotel in New York City - one of the Leading Hotels of the World, to Singapore Airlines - the world's most awarded airline.
Wowed by the city that never sleeps, Matthew emigrated to the United States last year after winning the Green Card lottery. He began his foray into the world of luxury hotels in April 2018 as the Senior Leisure Sales Manager at The Knickerbocker. His passion for people and sharp business acumen saw him quickly promoted to Director of Transient Sales in 2019. Formerly, Matthew was the Regional Marketing Manager for Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific Region at Singapore Airlines, and also held a range of executive positions including Communications, Agency Sales, Corporate Accounts and Market Development roles. During his time with the carrier, he oversaw the implementation of the world’s most comprehensive airline CRM, the launch of Premium Economy and a 25% capacity increase for the region.
He has always had a keen interest in tourism and hospitality, graduating from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia in 2010 with a Batchelor of Commerce (Marketing / Business Law / Tourism & Hospitality). Simultaneously, Matthew completed diplomas in Event Management and Food & Beverage Management at the Kenvale College of Tourism and Hospitality Management. In 2014, Matthew obtained his Masters in Science & Technology (Aviation) at UNSW.
